When I set out to redesign my website for 2012, it was going to be amazing. Everything I do is going to be amazing—until it comes time to actually, you know, do it. Which is why you are viewing a very ordinary-looking website (built on Weebly) rather than having a transformative interweb experience. Sorry about that. 

I am now attempting to make up for the boring design by shoveling in lots of miscellaneous content, like videos and free book reports and this photo taken by computer back when I was still trying to figure out the web design program Dreamweaver, which I never did.

Why didn't I just hire a professional? I guess because I like to do stuff myself. I'm one of those idiots who will drive around lost for an hour rather than stop and ask for directions. It's a personality defect, and it is also part of why I write books for a living.
