I say "old adult" to distinguish these books from my teen novels. I could just say "novels," but that would imply that my "young adult novels" are somehow inferior. Or, I could call them "adult novels," but that makes them sound like porn.

The four poker-titled books above comprise the Joe Crow/Axel Speeter novels. You might have to look for them on eBay. If you are lucky enough to live in the Twin Cities area, you might find copies at Once Upon a Crime or Uncle Edgars.

These next four books are as different from each other as they are from the first four. I am most proud of The Prop, a crime novel about the joys and perils of addiction in all its multifarious guises.
